Red, White, & Blue... and Aqua, too!

I'm posting a card for the Mid-month Throwdown challenge

 on the Stars & Stamps blog at Operation Write Home website.

It's a color challenge this month using red, white and blue-- a great combo!

Here's my card, using the challenge colors-- with a lot of aqua too :)

As you can see, my card relies heavily on this wonderful, whimsical pattern paper

 which comes from Stampin' Up!
Now I'm not a scrapbooker, but it's hard to resist these

colors and designs, even though it only comes in 12" x 12" sheets. 

One side has these sweet, smiling sea creatures,

and the flip side is the delicate white waves over the aqua
(aka Coastal Cabana) background.

I'm so tickled that I was able to figure out how to use these adorable, 

but large images, in an A2 card!

The sentiments come from Paper Smooches' Surf and Turf set.
